The two mo app grows out of the experience of MOMO, the ZUHÖRRAUM and thousands of hours of real listening. The hands-on work has taught us so much – about presence, meeting one another as equals, and what truly carries people. It is exactly this knowledge that now flows into how the app is being built.
It brings attitude and technology together, translating real, agenda-free listening into a digital space that feels dependable, clear and human.
At its heart is the momolog (a short daily ritual in which two people meet as equals): one person speaks, the other listens – without judgement, without advice, without distraction. Then the roles change. Out of this grow clarity, a sense of inner order, and the quiet certainty: I am here. I am heard.
All of this is held by a technical structure that makes safety and trust possible:
• a guided onboarding
• clearly defined rules and dos & don’ts
• a high standard of data protection and confidentiality
• matching as equals
• a calm, pared-back interface without distraction
• no AI conversations
• no storing of personal data
The app helps you to be more present, to communicate more consciously, to strengthen empathy and a sense of self-efficacy, and to deepen relationships. The momolog isn’t an exercise in the usual sense. It’s a daily ritual that gives time, rather than taking it.
The pricing follows a simple model with two ways in.
Free – a first step into connection
The free access lets you get a first feel for two mo. It includes one momolog a week. A gentle way into self-contact, listening and real encounter. No time pressure. No commitment.
Core – a daily practice
Core is the heart of it all. Here the momolog becomes a daily habit. Relationship, presence and connection become something you can feel, as a small daily ritual.
Price: €15 a month, or €10 a month with yearly payment. No hidden costs. Cancel any time.
In time, core is also meant to be offered – depending on the context – through partners such as health insurers, companies, universities or social organisations.
The two mo app stands for a new culture of being with and for one another.
A sheltered space – carried by attitude and technology. It’s deliberately designed as a safe space: a digital place where nothing has to be achieved and simply being is allowed. The technology stays in the background. It holds the space, so that something human can happen.
A first pilot of the two mo app is planned for late 2026. Release in the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store will follow afterwards, based on what we learn during this pilot phase.
*Important note: what momo hört zu offers is not therapy or a therapeutic conversation. We don’t replace a psychologist, therapist or doctor. It’s an encounter between people, on equal footing. If we sense that professional help is needed, we gently bring the conversation to a close and pass on the phone numbers of the relevant social emergency services. We stay alongside until a good way forward has been found.
